GATGAT is a 2-hour General Achievement Test designed specifically for students in the middle years of schooling. This test is a school-administered assessment which provides a reliable objective measurement of students’ proficiency across the core skills of Reading and Language, Mathematics and Writing.
* Entries open online on 27 November 2009 When can we do GAT?In 2010, the release date for GAT will be 5 March. Schools wishing to use GAT for the award of scholarships or academic selection of prospective students should plan to have students sit the test on this day or the weekend of 6-7 March. Schools wanting to use GAT for general assessment purposes can use it at any time from 5 March, and return the test books for marking at their convenience.
